Rakhi Sawant has played so many roles in her real life. An item girl, seductress, actress, reality show participant, singer, super girl and what not. Now Rakhi has a new role to play. That of a cricket commentator. With the world cup fever hitting the nation, television channel FILMY, in its continuous endeavor to give its viewers the best, has launched a new presentation “Rakhee ke Bouncers”. The show has the sizzling Rakhee Sawant teaming up with seasoned comedian Suresh Menon to add a different dimension of entertainment to the World Cup. Rakhee Ke Bouncers is packaged in a 3-minute vignette format which will air through the day on FILMY, starting March 23.

In Rakhee Ke Bouncers, Rakhee and Suresh will give their comments on cricket terminology, match results, statistics etc., in their inimitable, funny style. Rakhee Sawant plays a “bindaas bimbette commentator”, who knows all about fashion and films but nothing about cricket. Suresh Menon plays her co-commentator, appearing on the show in different avatars of famous personalities like Sidhu, Srikanth, Tendulkar, Nana Patekar and Dilip Kumar to name a few.

You really can’t afford to miss this show, if you are a true Rakhi Sawant’s fan. Cricket can’t get hotter and more glamorous than this!

When Rakhi Sawant was in Bigg Boss’s house, she apparently wanted her mother Jaya Sawant to move out of the flat they share. In the first week of March, Jaya will shift in with her son Rakesh at his MHADA flat.

Rakhi, who currently lives in Serenity Complex (Oshiwara) in a two-bedroom flat with her mother and boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi, has purchased a three-bedroom flat in the same complex where she will live with Abhishek.

She is expected to get possession of her new house by early March, but does not want her mother to join them in her love nest. The lady has been told in no uncertain terms by her daughter that she should leave by then.

When contacted, Rakhi admitted, “I don’t know when i will get the keys to my new house, but yes, i have told my mother not to stay with us. i have nothing against her. She is a very good mother, but now i want privacy. Main jeena chahti hoon.”

When asked how her mother would intrude if they continued to stay together, Rakhi shot back, “That’s my personal matter. I don’t want to talk about that.”

Rakhi said she has given enough monetary compensation to her mother. “I am hardly left with anything from the money i got from Bigg Boss.

I have donated a certain amount to charity, and have given most of the remaining balance to my mother. i have also given her lots of jewelery and provisional accommodation in Four Bungalows, if she wants to stay there.

But i feel she won’t stay alone; she will go to Rakesh’s house. Honestly, maa ka ghar wahi hota hai jahan uska beta ho. So what’s wrong if my mother lives with my brother?”

We called Mrs Sawant for her take. The last time she spoke to us, she had expressed her helplessness about the situation. This time, she put up a brave front. “Meri beti achchi hain. i don’t want to talk anything about this” she quipped.

But Rakesh (who lives with his wife and two kids) was as forthcoming as Rakhi, “My mother is not going to speak badly about Rakhi.

The truth is that she will be staying with me from March 1 and is most welcome here. i have two bedrooms and i will give one of those to her.

Rakhi Sawant will now appear in the comedy show “Comedy ka Badsshah-Hasega India” (Sony) with comedian Raju Srivastav comedian. Rakhi will spring a surprise in every episode in the segment “Hamari Bahu Rakhi”, designed keeping in mind her popularity.

The show will be a combination of spoofs and gags, which will also offer a platform for talented youngsters with a flair for comedy.

Raju says that he is excited to have Rakhi as his co-participant, who he says, will also be the butt of his jokes.

“I have done live shows with Rakhi all over the country. She has a funny bone. Rakhi will play the dutiful albeit sexy bahu who will serve tea to her in-laws but break into an item number, throwing away her pallu every time they aren’t around.

Rakhi will also have affairs on the sly while her husband will be a seedha saadha guy, who even performs karva chauth.”

At a chat Show, Rakhi Sawant went with her boyfriend Abhishek. Where she insisted on changing before the shoot because she felt she did not look ‘hot’ enough earlier. Even she insisted Abhishek to change his shirt trice, until she Okayed. You will be surprised to know that he actually proposed 25 times before Rakhi said yes.

Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant is upset again. This time the item girl-turned-actress wanted to go to jail but was not allowed in.

As part of a Lions Club campaign, Rakhi was the celebrity guest at a function in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail.

She was to distribute blankets, computers and glucometers to the inmates but the jail authorities pulled out the rulebook and said that she cannot enter the jail premises.

The authorities reasoned that they would not be able to control the inmates if she was allowed in.

This made Rakhi upset as she claimed that she had the necessary permission to go enter the jail. But her plea fell on deaf ears and Rakhi’s request was turned down.

“This is really ridiculous. If big stars like Madhuri Dixit want to come here, they are welcomed. But if Rakhi Sawant tries to do the same, she is not allowed”, a furious Rakhi exclaimed.

When Rakhi Sawant and boyfriend Abhishek recently shot for zoom TV’s show, Let’s Talk, all those present were quite amused at the girl’s attention to detail.

In fact, Rakhi Sawant insisted on changing before the shoot because she felt she did not look hot enough in what she was wearing earlier. Wow!!! o she loves to wear each and everything and only in which she thinks that she feels hot.

What’s more, she even bullied Abhishek into changing his shirt three times before she Okayed the outfit. And if you think Abhishek is miffed with her, think again. The guy has admitted to actually proposing to her nearly 25 times before Rakhi Sawant said yes. Seems like the love-birds are surely made for each other.

After all the kiss-controversy, fights and police complaints, Mika had gone on to make a video teasing Rakhi.

And with Rakhi in the Bigg Boss house, Mika had another chance to avenge her, by sending around 25,000 SMSes to make sure she was evicted!

Mika when contacted, says unabashedly, “Yes, I did send SMSes to get Rakhi out of the house. In fact, my fans have been emailing me saying that they would send SMSes to evict her too. I think I must have sent close to 25,000 SMSes! Rakhi’s still not withdrawn her case.

In Bigg Boss she made comments against me. She also said that she wants to make a video about me. To make the video, she will need the prize money. The best way to stop her is to make her lose the contest.”

Rakhi Sawant, when contacted sounded agitated and said, “Who is this Mika? I don’t want to comment on this.”

Rakhi Sawant has been a true sport and very entertaining in Big Boss from the very beginning.

It’s true that controversies didn’t leave her even on this reality show. But Rakhi Sawnat believes that she has many friends if not enemies and have learnt a lot from each and everyone on the show. She think she has become that much mature with three months on the show. Rakhi Sawant popularity really increased with Bigg Boss. For few till somedays back Rakhi Sawant was just an item girl. Now she is a very entertaining and lively person for the same lot of people.

Yes, Rakhi did reveal that she really think that Bigg Boss has done wonders for her. During her eviction, she even confessed to Arshad Warsi, that she has signed many films after the show. That’s the way to go Rakhi. Well Done!

Item girl Rakhi Sawant loves to be in controversies. Recently she was seen in a mini skirt and a short top at a garba event organized by Pancham Group at Helipad Ground in Bardoli. After all the previous protests, Rakhi Sawant had agreed to perform in a traditional chaniya-choli in Bardoli.

But the moment she stepped on the stage, the audience yelled, ‘Mika, Mika.’ She took the microphone and said, “Mika ko maro goli, garba enjoy karo. Garba mein mazaa nahin aata toh mujhe dekh kar enjoy karo.”

Following the protests police had to wrap up the program before its scheduled time. Speaking to the press Rakhi explain that she likes Gujaratis and their tradition. There were many people of which some loved her dance and some did not.

Inspector Chawda, who wrapped the event, explained that they had warned the organizer, Prashant Parmar, to be careful of her dress, otherwise they will have to face the consequences.

However Parmar explained that there wasn’t any obscenity in her dance. She performed on regional and Western numbers.

It was around 15th August 2006. Item girl Rakhi Sawant did it again. After being splashed all over the media for her lip lock with Mika, she is in the limelight, all over again. This time she was asked to leave Hyderabad, by the city police. A show featuring Sawant, among others had been organized at Vijaybhaskar Reddy indoor stadium.

Apparently, the organizers did not mention Sawant’s name while asking for permission from the police officials. But as soon as the publicity featuring Sawant began, the police put its foot down. They believed that the controversial performer should not be part of the show. They thought her performance could lead to law and order problems. Efforts to obtain permission proved to be futile and Rakhi left the city. However, cops arrived at the scene and refused to let her perform.

The show was organized as part of an annual function of a real estate firm. There were about 800 invites. Other performers included Vasundhara Das and Telugu film actresses Sangeetha and Tanu Rai.

Well Mika, younger brother of Daler Mehandi also tried to deny any lip lock or such charges.

Mika says that he never kissed Rakhi in Punjab. Such things cannot be done in Punjab, where I not even release my video ‘Something Something’ on the local channels there because it is bold.

Explaining about the birthday incident Mika says, he never kissed her on the lips. He planted one on her cheeks. Also he says that Rakhi’s brother Shezwood was beaten up by a bunch of people. Also, people who were beating up Shezwood weren’t his bodyguards. In fact, he stopped the fight. Suddenly, Rakhi screamed out that he smooched her.

Rakhi says that this wasn’t the first time that Mika kissed her. He did so when she was dancing at an awards nite in Punjab. But that time she forgave him as he was a friend. He did it again at his birthday party. He grabbed my neck and kissed her hard. He in fact even bit her twice on the lower lip and broke her ear-ring in the process.

“I am an Indian woman. I will not allow a liplock - a peck on the cheek is okay.” said Rakhi.

Rakhi Sawant knows how to remain in news. Few days back she claimed that she was forcibly smooched by singer Mika at his birthday bash on Saturday night. Rather than the customary form of greeting like hug or a peck, Mika kissed her forcibly, said Abhishek Awasthi, Rakhi’s friend and now probably her fiancee. Mika is singer Daler Mehendi’s younger brother and has been friends with Rakhi for past three years.

Following the incident, Rakhi lodged a complaint against Mika and two others on charges of molestation and physical abuse. Mika’s bodyguards also roughed up a friend of Rakhi, DJ Shezwood who was bleeding and was rushed to hospital. Oshiwara police said a case has been registered against Mika under sections 323 (assault) and 354 (molestation) of IPC. Mika is said to have left for Delhi immediately after the incidence.

Rakhi known for her skin show in the sleazy music videos says that she doesn’t invite controversies. It just happens to her. I think i have to agree with that.

Rakhi Sawant is someone, who somehow or the other, always finds herself in the middle of a controversy. And this time its more than one thing that has landed her in trouble. The item girl is currently performing in different parts of Maharashtra. While performing in Kolhapur on May 18, a case was registered against her for obscene costumes and gestures. She was performing in the capacity of the ambassador of a popular beer brand.

Justifying her stand, Rakhi said that she had no problems with being an item girl. In fact, the costume that she wore was provided by the show’s organisers.

It is very few people back home in Bollywood that she admires. Sushmita Sen and Mallika Sherawat being two of them! According to Rakhi, Sushmita is the only actress she’s worked with, who is not jealous of her! In fact, during the shooting of Main Hoon Na, Sushmita even complimented Rakhi on her fabulous figure. Her admiration for Mallika on the other hand stems from the fact that Mallika too, does not give a damn about what people think and speaks her mind!

Much has been said and written about Rakhi Sawant’s sensational outfit in the upcoming film Hot Money. Designed by her brother Rakesh Sawant, she is seen wearing the outfit in an item number, Paisa Khuda Ha, for the film. Now what put this outfit in the limelight is that it is made up of 2000 Re.1 coins. We all know that a Re.1 coin is inscribed with the Ashoka Chakra and the line Satyamev Jayate. And so a Shiv Sainik has written letters to the Governor, objecting to the use of the coins for the outfit. Her brother justifies the dress design by saying that since the film revolves around money, the outfit was required. Rakhi too thinks other more relevant social issues should be addressed, other than her dress. Directed by brother Rakesh Sawant, Hot Money awaits the green signal from the Censor Board.

Rakhi Sawant did another Pardesiya after her debut video. This time Pardesiya 2 with the song “Hoton Pe Aisi Baat’ from Jewel Thief. This video was super hot and Rakhi performed this dance sequence with grace.

The concept of this video was based on Alladin’s tale. Rakhi played a courtesan who had to get hold of the magic lamp from the evil king, anyhow. This video was directed by Rahul L Sud and had music by Harry Anand.

Rakhi Sawant, the mallikka of Dance, surely set the screen on fire once again.

This was one huge news when Rakhi Sawant revealed that she will be without any clothes whatsoever in her next item number. If there is one person who has no reservations about flaunting herself, it has got to be Rakhi Sawant!

Rakhi Sawant was supposed to be seen in her brother Rakesh Sawant’s film titled Hot Money, in an item number titled “Paisa Khuda Hai.” But there is a catch! Rakhi will be without any clothes whatsoever! Wow!!! That surely will rock you up. But put brakes on your thinking heads. Coz, her vital assets will be covered by coins! The outfit is made up of two thousand Rs.1 coins. She will not be wearing any clothes except for these coins which will just about cover, what needs to be covered. And the coins shake and create a tinkling sound when Rakhi dances. Rakhi Sawant was confident that people will go crazy when they see the song.

Rakhi Sawant is known for her bold nature. She doesn’t feel shy to show her gorgeous body. And probably we all love it. However this news hit hard on Rakhi Sawant’s fans. Actually she surprised everyone. It was 6^th August 2005 when we heard that she will be seen in another item number in a uniquely titled movie 24 X 7 Bombay Salon Unisex to be directed by Nabh Kumar Raju. But ironically this item number won’t show much of her anatomy. That is what Rakhi Sawant had to say. Surprisingly Rakhi will refrain from any kind of skin show in this song. Well, imagine an item number without any skin show. Strange. Very strange!!! Moreover, she ain’t charging anything for the item song either. I don’t believe it. You got to see it to believe it.
